The Kingdom of God

There may not be an occupation that makes a person more visible, more set apart, than a king. The Israelites wanted a visible military leader because they did not trust an invisible God. So the prophet Samuel anointed Saul as the first king of Israel. However, as the Israelites soon found out, no matter who is set apart, no one is set above God. God is the King over His Kingdom.
